About the character

Hello, my dear readers. Let me introduce one of the main characters of my book. Her name is Parwana. She is an unlucky woman. Since her the birth the newborn was in trouble: The midwife had to free her from the cord that had wrapped itself around Parwana’s neck, as if in a murderous fit of separation anxiety. In her worst moments, when she cannot help being swallowed up by a torrent of self-loathing, Parwana thinks that perhaps the cord knew best”. She had grown up with her twin. Her name is Masooma. Masooma was a beautiful child. Everyone loved, admired and petted her, but Parwana stayed in the background. Only her mother loved her and took heed to her baby. When the girls began to mature Masooma received attention from men. In that time her sister was offended and was jealous of Sabour. He liked Masooma, but her unattractive twin was not noticed. As it usually took place, Parwana had fallen in love with Sabour. In that moment there were not any chances to be with him. One awful day, Massoma fell down from a tree. The sisters were sitting on the tree when a branch was broken. In that moment the Parwana could catch her sister. But it did not matter that she was cruel, because she even didn’t notice how she pushed her. The beautiful girl became a disabled person. After this incident Parwana felt her guilt but did not recognize it. Some days after Parwana married Sabour. Was it love? I suppose it was not. She was only another option for this man, who lost his wife and could not stay with his children without a woman supporting them. The character is submissive, maybe because nobody could see her as an optimistic person because of her life. She spent all her life earning money by hard work and taking care of her twin and step children. Parwana was kind to them and her loved ones.
